Dining is an important part of life at Marchfield House and an experience our residents look forward too. Our specially selected menu is freshly baked from ingredients that are of the best quality and that have been locally sourced wherever possible. Following our “community” philosophy we believe in using local people for local produce.
Our Chefs have been selected for their skills and knowledge within this specialist area of cooking. The focus is on wholesome home-cooked food, where nutritional values and presentation is paramount. Our Chefs develop their own recipes to meet the particular individual dietary needs and tastes of the residents within the home.
Throughout the day, hot and cold drinks and a range of snacks are available on request in addition to our regular meals. A particular highlight of the day is the pre-dinner sherry and afternoon cake.
